Oh Christmas tree, Oh Chistmas tree.

You might think that there is no way to science up a Christmas tree, but you would be mistaking. Allow me to introduce you to the Volen 4th floor Christmas, or to be politically aware, Holiday tree.

At first glance it appears to be a normal, run of the mill tree. But I promise it is not. It is a true science dork’s tree. Let’s take a closer look.

So what do we have. From top to bottom, a bilayer cassette, oligo containers from when they were made at Brandeis, a holiday 50 mL conical, a 5 mL syringe, a 5 mL bed volume Ni column, a squid (I don’t get this one either), and finally a science tree wouldn’t be complete without a eppendorf chain. I love it!
